Many of the Treenu benefits come natural…
Yet it’s the superior features that will really prove how much better Treenu works for you:

Stain Resistant
Treenu is exceptionally stain resistant. Even stubborn ones can be cleaned with soap and warm water, scrubbed with a soft bristle brush or even repaired by a light refinishing of the material.

Scratch Resistant
While significantly harder than wood Treenu is still like most countertop materials. It is possible to scratch under unexpected force. Most can be repaired with a light refinishing. Unlike many solid surfaces where the scratch appears as a different color then the material itself, Treenu is a solid color all the way through, so if scratches do occur there will be no color difference. Avoid using Treenu countertops as a cutting surface. Use of a separate Treenu cutting board is recommended which is dishwasher safe.

Heat Resistant
Due to its high heat resistance, (up to 350º F) Treenu does not need additional protection near stove areas. A trivet or hot pad is recommended for exceedingly hot pots and pans pulled directly out of the oven.

Sanitary / Antibacterial
From the home to restaurant kitchens, Treenu is recognized for its sanitary performance characteristics. The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), which sets standards for food service-related products has certified Treenu for use as cutting boards with direct food contact in restaurants. The same material is used in Treenu countertops. The surface is impermeable and does not sustain bacteria colonization.

Extended Cantilevers and Long Spans
Due to Treenu’s long, tough fibers inside, the material will not bend or break under normal circumstances. Architects and designers hail Treenu for its long spans and extended cantilevers without adding extra support.
